One of our favorite fall DIY decor ideas is creating a leaf garland to add a pop of autumnal color to any room. Simply gather some colorful leaves from your backyard (or cheat a little and pick up some fake ones from the store) and attach them to a piece of twine or ribbon with some hot glue. Hang it on your mantel, drape it over a doorway, or use it as a festive table runner for your next dinner party.
Another easy and budget-friendly DIY project is to make your own pumpkin spice candles. Just melt some soy wax flakes in a double boiler, add a few drops of pumpkin spice essential oil, and pour the mixture into small Mason jars with a wick in the center. Let them cool and set for a few hours, and voila – you’ve got yourself some deliciously scented candles that will make your home smell like a pumpkin patch!
