As the staff of the parent game, we are always looking for innovative ways to test out the latest kitchen gadgets. So when we got our hands on the Breville Smart Oven Pro, we knew we had to put it through its paces in the most unconventional way possible – by baking cookies with rain!
Yes, you read that right. We decided to take advantage of a rainy day to see how well the Breville Smart Oven Pro could handle the challenge of baking cookies with a little extra moisture in the air. And let us tell you, we were not disappointed.
First off, let’s talk about the design of this bad boy. The Breville Smart Oven Pro is sleek, modern, and oh-so-smart. It comes equipped with 10 pre-set cooking functions, including a super convection setting for faster, more even cooking. And of course, it has all the bells and whistles you would expect from a high-end toaster oven, like an LCD display, an interior light, and multiple rack positions.
But the real test came when we loaded up the oven with our cookie dough and set it to bake. We watched as the Smart Oven Pro quickly heated up to the perfect temperature, thanks to its Element IQ technology that distributes heat evenly throughout the cooking chamber. And when the rain started to fall outside, we held our breath, wondering if our cookies would turn out soggy and sad.
But lo and behold, when we opened up the oven after the baking time was up, we were greeted with perfectly golden, crispy-on-the-outside, chewy-on-the-inside cookies. The Smart Oven Pro had handled the extra moisture like a champ, thanks to its super convection setting that helped to circulate the air and keep the cookies from getting too damp.
In the end, we were blown away by the performance of the Breville Smart Oven Pro. It may not have been designed specifically for baking cookies in the rain, but it certainly rose to the occasion.
