Ah, the joys of family dinner night. The promise of delicious homemade smash burgers sizzling on the Blackstone griddle, the laughter of children playing in the backyard, and the satisfaction of a job well done. Or so we thought.
As the staff of the parent game, we were all geared up for a fun and delicious evening. The Blackstone griddle was preheated, the ground beef perfectly seasoned, and the buns toasted to perfection. Everything was going swimmingly until disaster struck.
As we attempted to flip our perfectly smashed burgers, disaster struck. The dreaded sticking happened. The burgers refused to release from the griddle, resulting in a mangled mess of meat and bun. #fail
Mom, with a look of horror on her face, tried to salvage the situation by scraping the burgers off the griddle and into a sad pile on a plate. But alas, it was too late. The damage had been done. The promise of delicious smash burgers had turned into a total fail.
As we sat around the table, poking at our sad excuse for a meal, we couldn’t help but laugh at the situation. Even the best-laid plans can go awry, especially when it comes to cooking on a Blackstone griddle.
But hey, at least we tried, right? And isn’t that what family dinner night is all about? The memories made, the laughs shared, and the knowledge that sometimes, things just don’t go as planned.
So here’s to the Blackstone griddle fail that will go down in family dinner night history. Cheers to the mangled smash burgers, the sticky mess, and the reminder that sometimes, it’s okay to just order takeout. #momlife
