First things first, Lucykiins recommends prepping your jeans by washing them in cold water and letting them air dry. This will ensure that the dye adheres to the fabric properly. Then, mix up the Rit Back to Black dye according to the instructions on the package and get ready to work your magic.
Lucykiins suggests starting by dipping just the top half of your jeans into the dye mixture and letting them soak for about 10-15 minutes. This will create a nice gradient effect, with the top half being darker than the bottom half. If you want a more uniform look, you can submerge the entire pair of jeans in the dye for a bit longer.
